More information please
Customers who regularly use the waste enquiry process will have
noticed a change to the waste treatment enquiry form. The form has
almost doubled in size and a great deal more information is being
asked for.
We appreciate that the form is now more 'long winded' and will
take longer to complete but by giving a fuller picture of the
sample in question it gives:
- a greater confidence in the accuracy of the initial price
quoted and
- a better determination of the treatment route for when it
arrives at the treatment centre.
This format is being introduced in response to the IPPC Sector
Guidance notes as the 'best available techniques', and will be
adopted by more and more treatment centres nationwide.
The new forms are being used with immediate effect and are
available from our web site, by email, fax or from the treatment
centre receptions. Any old style forms that you may still have in
the office or cab should not be used and are best used as
scrap.
However the form is returned, email, fax, post or by hand,
remember that it is now two pages and not, as in the past, just the
one.
If you have any questions about the new forms please do not
hesitate to contact the Organic Waste office on 01225 524
560.
